a year ago the government found that jws from manchester were involved in a child abuse, but the local congregation did everything to hide it and be in the way of the police investigation.
this situation is getting worse now.

there are a whole bunch of bible verses that the wt interprets in its own way to:.
suit their agenda.. to make bible verses less silly/weird/bizarre.
to make god appear righteous, kind and justified.. to make the bible appear more practical and applicable for modern times.. have given a few here.
Jesus said “To the extent that you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”—MATT. 25:40.
WT denies that this means all who are part of the Christian community but refers instead ONLY to the remaining ones of Christ’s spirit-anointed brothers on earth.
So the Watchtower Study magazine of March 2015 concluded that as a result.... (Quote:) "The growing number of prospective sheep count it a privilege to support Christ’s brothers not only in the preaching work but also in other practical ways. For example, they give financial contributions and help to build Kingdom Halls, Assembly Halls, and branch facilities, and they loyally obey those appointed by “the faithful and discreet slave” to take the lead."
i did some self-reflection today trying to determine why, with every passing day, i become angrier against the watchtower company.
i am in my 70's and my health is failing.
at first, i thought it was because "worldly" people couldn't care less about jdubs and the little world they live in even though the witlesses think that the earth revolves around them and their desert god who was originally worshipped by the cainites.
Hi Sour Grapes and Others.
I am in the process of fading and I do find it difficult not to be angry at all of the time I have wasted. I am almost 60 and in very poor health, without the safety net of a lifetime of savings.
I have to curtail my anger otherwise I would take it out on my wife who is largely PIMI although some things do niggle her.
But along with the anger at the new organisation I also feel a void and an emptiness as I am a spiritual person inside but for now am unsure in which direction to turn. Sometimes I get angry at myself for not catching on to TTATT sooner. But that only leads me to anxiety and depression, which I have had therapy for in the past.
I just feel a great sadness reading through all your posts, and whilst I see that I am not alone in my feelings, I struggle with channelling my feelings in a positive way to improve my mood.
Love to you all.
hey, i would like to share my experience, it is kind of long but i really appreciate whoever reads.
last year i was a devout pioneer sister.
well, i am naturally an imperfect 20 year old women.
If two are dating and are so much at risk of making mad passionate love that the elders insist a third person must be present as a chaperone doesn't that just open up the possibility of having a threesome?
Wonder if that has ever been the outcome?

Do you know a funny thing about elders insisting that single people who are dating be chaperoned? They have no problem if a single brother collects a car load of sisters to take them out in the ministry or to the Kingdom Hall, even though as he drops them back home he might eventually find himself alone in his car with a single sister.
But if the 2 started dating, suddenly a 3rd person is required to be there with the two of them. Isn't that crazy!?
it's amazing what you can stumble upon on the internet these days.
i just came across this site.
maybe you already knew about it, but i did not.

so 9 months before i started pioneering, i had a hot and heavy moment with this player witness who was just trying to string me along and talked to a lot of different girls.
we made out and he grabbed my goodies a few times you know the regular stuff all teens do at least once.
anyways i never saw him again because when i refused to send him nudes he dropped me.
The bother about moving out to another congregation is that elders will likely still talk about you to their friends in the circuit regardless of what they officially say in the introduction letter. I know this for a fact, it happened several times when I was an elder in the old days.
"So you have sister so and so move to your hall. You need to keep an eye on her. Especially around the boys. No, no I'm not telling tales out of school... but I wouldn't be happy to let my lad out with her and he's 26! Blah, blah blah blah."
Seen it too many times. Even know the blabbers in the current boe which is why I keep a much lower profile since I started to fade myself. Even to voice an opinion in a friendly conversation to an elder brother and Wham two of the blighters turn up to counsel you.
It is a cult. You have my condolences for the way you have been treated, but it will not get any better.
so, i am having lunch with a group of women with varying backgrounds.
i asked the circle how many believed in the story of adam and eve and the snake.
no one believed it literally.
Never understood why God cursed the literal snake to crawl on its belly in the dust if He really knew that (refer to the Book of Revelation) it wasn't the snake but the apostate angel - the Devil.
Which makes me think that Genesis was concocted by Moses who didn't know the truth about the start of things and pinched bits from earlier Egyptian creation myths and the other stories of his day. 🤔🙄
are all the gb members past and present, part of skulls and bones and other masonic secret societies?
we know the first few top brass were, like br rutherford and br russel.. they all have several expensive watches.
like literally more than one for everyday of the week, rolex and omega, where did they come from?
Going back to the question of expensive Rolex watches and gold bling for a moment - - - how can you square it up with their alleged Vow of Poverty and Obedience?
Quote : W17, April, pages 3-8, paragraph 19. "Currently, there are some 67,000 members of the Worldwide Order of Special Full-Time Servants of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Some perform Bethel service, others engage in construction or in circuit work, serve as field instructors or special pioneers or missionaries or as Assembly Hall or Bible school facility servants. They are all bound by a “Vow of Obedience and Poverty,” with which they agree to do whatever is assigned to them in the advancement of Kingdom interests, to live a simple lifestyle, and to abstain from secular employment without permission. It is not the people but their assignments that are viewed as special. They realize the seriousness of humbly living up to their solemn vow for as long as they remain in special full-time service."
i know that there's been a lot posted about this already but i wanted to ask if anyone knew if the wts was in breach of the information commissioner's office (uk) directive or am i misunderstanding something.
the ioc give a list of requirements with regards to charities and in part it says .
that consent is not a precondition for the service provided.

The IOC give a list of requirements with regards to charities and in part it says
that consent is not a precondition for the service provided.
The WTS in their instructions to the elders say that not giving consent means
that the congregation will not be able to evaluate the person's suitability for certain activities; and it also excludes them from being recorded in congregation meetings.
Does this contradict the IOC or not?
